Llanelli have been denied permission to stage the home leg of their Intertoto Cup match at their own stadium. The Welsh Premier club had appealed to Uefa to relax their rules on stadium capacity to allow them to face FK Vetra of Lithuania at Stebonheath Park.
But Uefa has said the ground falls short of the minimum 1,000 seats needed to stage a European match, and the pitchside dug-outs are too small.
The game will therefore be staged at Carmarthen on Sunday, 1 July.
The first leg of the tie will be played in the Lithonia capital of Vilnius on Sunday 24 June.
Llanelli will face a Polish round if they reach the second round, with an English Premier League side waiting in the third round.
