Newport County beat Newi Cefn Druids in extra time on Monday to book their place in the quarter-finals of the FAW Premier Cup. Welsh Premier strugglers Druids went ahead against the run of play through Osian Jones just before half-time.
Striker Julian Alsop equalised for the Conference South outfit 10 minutes from time to force extra time.
Sam O'Sullivan hit the winner shortly after the restart, before Mike Heverin missed a great chance for the Druids.
