Newtown 2-5 TNS
TNS booked their place in the FAW Premier Cup semi-finals with a comfortable win at Latham Park.

The Welsh Premier leaders suffered an early scare when a Darren Ryan penalty put Newtown ahead on 16 minutes.

Nicky Ward and a Martin Giles own-goal in the space of three minutes gave TNS a half-time lead, and John Toner added a third shortly after the break.

Andrew Webb's goal gave Newtown hope but Phil Baker and Steve Beck put the result beyond doubt.


Newtown: Steven Jones, Craig Williams, Martin Giles, Alan Hooley, Shane Kirkham, Adrian Moody, Matthew Lewis, Daniel Desormeaux, Peter Smith, Damien Daniels, Darren Ryan (Andrew Webb 53, Samuel Pickup 74).
