Davenport hails Bangor battlers
Bangor manager Peter Davenport
Bangor manager Peter Davenport paid tribute to his side after their shock 1-0 win over Cardiff took them into the FAW Premier Cup semi-final.

"The work rate from start to finish was absolutely fantastic and we played good football when we could," he said.

"I was disappointed not to be more than one up at half-time, but they came at us strongly in the second half.

"There's no need to motivate for games against higher-rated players who look like having a brighter future."
