Rhyl striker Andy Moran has been relieved of the awards he won last season as the Welsh Premier's player of the year and leading scorer. The league's board of directors took the action after recently learning of Moran's positive nandrolone test following a game with Afan Lido in March.
Rhyl's Tim Edwards has been handed the player of the season award, with Caersws' Graham Evans the top scorer.
Head of competitions John Deakin said the decision was a difficult one.
"The board made this decision after a great deal of heart searching and deliberations, but considered that, given the circumstances, it would be inappropriate for Andy Moran to retain these prestigious awards," he said.
"The board did absolve Rhyl FC of any responsibility whatsoever regarding this matter and expressed hope that Moran would resume his career with the club following his suspension." At a hearing in July, Moran was suspended until 28 February by the FA of Wales, fined 250 and ordered to pay 2,500 costs.
