Fans invaded the pitch on three separate occasions

West Ham have issued photos of 67 supporters they want to identify after crowd trouble which marred their Carling Cup match against Millwall.

The Hammers are contesting four charges from the FA of failing to control their fans at the game in August.

The club says 25 people already face lifetime banning orders from their home ground Upton Park.

"We have issued four life banning orders and a further 21 are pending," said a club spokesman.

Both West Ham and Millwall are alleged to have taken insufficient action to stop missile throwing and violent, threatening and racist behaviour.

The Hammers are also accused of failing to prevent their fans invading the pitch.

A Millwall supporter was stabbed as fans clashed outside the east London ground and pitch invasions by West Ham fans followed each of their side's goals in the 3-1 extra-time win.

Police say they arrested 19 people in connection with disorder inside and outside the ground.

West Ham, who were later knocked out of the competition by Bolton Wanderers, have already received information from fans after photos from the night were published on their website and in a match programme.

A number of supporters identified themselves as pitch invaders and now the club wants to identify more.

"We are publishing more images of people we would like to speak to and would ask anyone with information to come forward," said a spokesman.

The images have been published on the club's website and the club says all information will be treated in confidence.
