Billy Paynter scored twice as Swindon thumped MK Dons to move into the second round of the Carling Cup.
Jon-Paul McGovern's superb 40-yard lob put Swindon ahead but Jermaine Easter levelled from the spot after Lescinel Jean-Francois fouled Lewis Gobern.
Paynter restored the Robins' lead with a deflected shot and he made it 3-1 after Dons keeper Willy Gueret dropped Anthony McNamee's cross.
David McCracken headed into his own net soon after to complete Dons' misery.
Swindon manager Danny Wilson told BBC Wiltshire:
"It's never easy coming to a place like this but to play in the manner that they have is a huge credit to them.
"We had to give something back to the fans and ourselves and earn a bit of self respect again.
"I had every confidence that they would put a good performance in."
