Reading thrashed Luton to reach the Carling Cup third round, with brothers Noel and Stephen Hunt among the goals.

Stephen Hunt's corner was headed home by his younger sibling to open the scoring and four minutes later Noel crossed for Stephen to slide home.

Reading went three up when Alex Pearce headed in James Henry's corner and Jem Karacan nodded in for a fourth goal.

Henry made it 5-0 when he swept the ball in after a corner before Ryan Charles pulled one back for Luton.
