Bristol City striker Steve Brooker popped up to score a late winner for the second game in succession as they saw off Peterborough.
Brooker headed in a cross with five minutes left to complete a fine turnaround from Gary Johnson's hosts.
George Boyd had drilled Posh into the lead with a low 12-yard shot, before Jamie McAllister swung over a corner and Louis Carey nodded in to level.
Posh keeper Joe Lewis saved from Michael McIndoe before Brooker won it.
