Billy Sharp and Luton Shelton both scored twice as Sheffield United breezed past Morecambe and into the fourth round of the Carling Cup.

The impressive Shelton showed superb control before teeing up Sharp who rattled in the first and Sharp crashed in his second off the bar.

Shelton ran on Stephen Quinn's pass to slot the third after the break and Hendrie rammed home number four.

The Blades sealed the win when Shelton curled in his second from 20 yards.
