League Two's Peterborough produced a confident and dogged display to knock Championship side Southampton out of the Carling Cup in the first round. Southampton's Grzegorz Rasiak headed an own goal on 21 minutes to gift Posh the lead and five minutes later George Boyd doubled his side's lead from six yards.
Rasiak scored at the right end on 36 minutes to give Saints hope.
But Peterborough withstood some intense pressure in the second half to clinch a shock victory.
