Wigan handed extra final tickets | | Wigan have been given another 500 tickets after selling out most of their allocation for the Carling Cup final. The Latics have sold most of the 27,000 originally given to them and are delighted to have been given more. "This will already be the greatest ever convoy of Wigan Athletic fans," said club spokesman Matt McCann. "Hopefully this new batch of tickets will mean that no Wigan fan will now be
disappointed at not being able to see their team play."
