Cliftonville beat Donegal Celtic 4-2 in an entertaining Carling Premiership clash at Solitude

Cliftonville took the lead in this Belfast derby through a 26th-minute George McMullan penalty after Declan O'Hara's unlucky handball offence.

Donegal Celtic equalised with a penalty of their own, scored by Paul McVeigh following shirt pulling by Ronan Scannell on Aiden McVeigh.

Stephen Garrett shot the Reds into the lead in first-half stoppage time.

McVeigh's second goal equalised for DC Chris Scannell and Rory Donnelly's goals gave Cliftonville's the victory.

Scannell slotted home in the 66th minute while teenager Donnelly headed in late on.

Reds boss Eddie Patterson was sent-off by referee Mark Courtney late in the first half.
