Tommy Wright's Lisburn Distillery beat Portadown 2-0 at New Grosvenor to move up to second in the Carling Premiership

Distillery moved up to second in the Carling Premiership thanks to this victory at New Grosvenor.

Whites midfielder Andy Kilmartin hit a post before Ports forward Wesley Boyle saw his shot blocked by Pat McShane.

Glenn Ferguson put the hosts ahead on 41 minutes when he headed past David Miskelly from Gary Thompson's cross.

Gary Brown scored from a penalty two minutes after the break after he was fouled while Portadown striker Rickard Lecky headed against the woodwork.

The victory takes Tommy Wright's side to within three points of leaders Glentoran.
