Ciaran Martyn's goal earns Glentoran victory over Glenavon and moves the Oval outfit four points clear in the Carling Irish Premiership
Ciaran Martyn scored the winning goal for Glentoran to extend his side's lead at the top of the table to four points.
Daryl Fordyce and Johnny Black had first-half chances and after the break Trevor Molloy fired just wide of the post and Neal Gawley went close.
Martyn headed in unchallenged from a Black corner in the 65th minute for his second goal of the season.
Molloy's goalbound effort was blocked by Sean Ward and Black fired narrowly wide as Glentoran took the points.
Fordyce shot over early in the game and then Black had a chance with a 25-yard free-kick.
After the interval, Molloy picked up possession but his left-foot wide was just off-target.
Gawley almost got on the end of a cross before former Derry City player Martyn broke the deadlock.
