Michael Carvill's goal gives Linfield a 1-0 victory over Lisburn Distillery at Windsor Park
A seventh-minute goal from Michael Carvill secured Linfield's first league win of the season at Windsor Park.
Jamie Mulgrew set up Carvill, who fired in the Blues' early winner.
Robert Garrett saw his shot spilled by Phillip Matthews but the goalkeeper saved the rebound and Jim Ervin cleared Gary Browne's effort off the line.
After the break, Scott Davidson twice went close and Damian Curran cleared off the line from Gary Liggett while Matthews saved from William Murphy.
The Whites goalkeeper was at full stretch to deny Murphy's header.
Peter Thompson had other scoring opportunities but the champions were unable to add to their tally.
"It was not our greatest performance but we stuck at it and got the points," said Linfield manager David Jeffrey after the game.
