Carling Premiership new boys Donegal Celtic secure their first win of the season beating Ballymena 4-0
Newly-promoted Donegal Celtic got their first points of the Premiership season with an amazing 4-0 win at Ballymena.
Andrew Cleary got the first in the 26th minute after Mark Dickson set up the chance and Stephen McAlorum go the second from a Paul McVeigh pull back.
DC stalwart McVeigh fired number three past new Ballymena goalkeeper Ryan Brown after being put through by Thomas Lambe in the 58th minute.
McVeigh scored the fourth from a penalty after a Gary Haveron foul.
"To get such a great result and performance is very pleasing," said DC boss Marty Tabb.
"But it is early days and we need to build on this.
"Nothing is guaranteed. We have to repeat this effort and performance if we are going to gat points from games."
