Kevin Kelbie secured a point for United at Mourneview Park as the teams completed their Premiership campaigns.

Glenavon midfielder Stuart King scored against his former club with a 30-yard free-kick after four minutes.

Trevor Molloy shot straight at Ballymena keeper Dwyane Nelson before Kelbie equalised on 41 minutes with a header from Darren Lockhart's cross.

The pace dropped in the second half although Eamon Murray almost won it for Glenavon when he hit the crossbar.
