An 87th-minute Ryan McIlmoyle goal gave Dungannon a 2-1 victory over Ballymena United at Stangmore Park.
McIlmoyle put his side ahead with a low 25-yard left-foot shot in the fifth minute while Ballymena lost injured duo Darren Lockhart and Albert Watson.
Michael Smith and Noel Anderson had chances for United before Kevin Kelbie sent Mark Surgenor clear to score the equaliser with seven minutes remaining.
McIlmoyle kept his cool to fire home the winner four minutes later.
