Rainey flicked home an overhead kick after a John Convery error at the end.
The Crues made a good start to the game and Caddell's early header rebounded off the bar.
Miskelly made a fine save from Martin Donnelly's left-foot shot and the Crues winger fired just wide of the target soon after.
Caddell scored the opener and then Rainey raced through on goal but Darren Kelly managed to put off the striker and the ball ballooned over the bar.
Haire took advantage to level after Keenan raced out of goal but failed to collect and then Rainey netted the vital winner with his 10th goal of the league campaign.
