David Rainey netted his seventh goal of the campaign

David Rainey's second-half strike gave the Crues a victory which takes them up to second in the Carling Premiership.

Coleraine failed to clear a Mark Dickson shot on 73 minutes and Rainey pounced to fire home from 15 yards.

The Bannsiders shaded the first half with Rory Patterson going close while Crusaders defender Colin Coates headed over from close range.

The visitors were denied an 84th minute equaliser when Gareth McKeown hooked David McClements' shot off the line.
