Glentoran maintain their unbeaten record in the Carling Premiership as they beat Cliftonville 2-1 at Solitude

Colin Nixon headed home from inside the penalty area in the 75th minute to give the champions victory at Solitude.

Daryl Fordyce tested John Connolly before Kyle Neill opened the scoring with a 28th minute penalty after Fordyce was upended by Declan O'Hara.

Barry Holland blocked from Fordyce, Neill went close and Francis Murphy skied over the bar for the Reds.

Jason Hill cleared a Chris Scannell header off the line but Ciaran Caldwell scored from eight yards on 72 minutes.

Substitute Caldwell found the net after Scannell found him inside the box.

Early in the game, Declan O'Hara headed just over before the Glens took control.

The Reds fought their way back into the game but the league champions remain unbeaten with three wins and a draw and lie two points behind pacesetters Dungannon Swifts.
