John Gregg's side clinched their first points of the campaign
Institute earned their first points of the Carling Irish Premiership season as a controversial Paul Brown penalty helped them defeat Lisburn Distillery.
Glenn Ferguson opened his Whites account from the spot on 50 minutes after Dave Rogers' earlier own goal.
But the big talking point was referee Simon Creaney adjudging that Peter McCann had fouled Declan Divin on 63.
Brown made no mistake as Stute moved up to three points in the table - leaving Distillery still to open their account.
Recent signing Rogers back-headed into his own net on 24th minutes with the ball looping over keeper Chris Stewart after Jason Blackburn had won an aerial duel on the edge of the Distillery boss.
Institute had the ball into the Whites net again before the break with Austin Friel hammering home but the effort was correctly ruled out for a push by Brown.
Ferguson levelled for the visitors from the spot five minutes into the second half after Ogilby had upended Neil Gawley.
However, Stute moved ahead again on 63 minutes after referee Creaney awarded the dubious penalty.
McCann was adjudged to have barged into Declan Divin although it looked a hugely contentious decision.
However, Brown gratefully accepted the opportunity to strike the penalty past Stewart.
There was little further incident in the game as Stute held on to their fortunate advantage.
Institute move up to eighth in the table but the Whites occupy bottom spot alongside the also pointless Ballymena United.
