Marc Mukendi has completed his move to Coleraine after signing a two-year contract with the Showgrounds club.
The 22-year-old central defender joins David Platt's team from League of Ireland club Finn Harps.
Mukendi joined Derry City in 2006 before spending two spells on loan with the Ballybofey side.
The former Republic of Ireland youth player is Platt's fourth summer signing after the arrivals of Aaron Canning, Michael Hegarty and Rory Patterson.
Mukendi is the son of former Harps and Derry player Jose Mukendi.
