Barry Johnston has been a combative presence in Cliftonville's midfield

Lisburn Distillery and Newry City have made enquiries about transfer-listed Cliftonville midfielder Barry Johnston.

The tough-tackling Johnston has been made available to other clubs along with centre-back David McAlinden.

Vincent Sweeney and Stephen O'Neill have also been released by the club while Rory Hamill and Shea Campbell remain on the transfer list.

Ronan Scannell, George McMullan and John Connolly have all signed new deals with the Solitude outfit.
