Alan McDonald has been in charge at the Oval for two seasons
The Glentoran board are set to offer manager Alan McDonald a new two-year contract, BBC Sport understands.
It is believed the new deal will see no increase in salary for McDonald but will include incentive based bonuses.
These could include additional rewards if the former Northern Ireland defender can deliver further silverware.
It is also understood that McDonald may have to oversee a trimming of the club's budget if he agrees to the offer which will be presented to him.
McDonald said earlier this week that he was confident he will be able to agree a new contract with the newly-crowned Irish Premiership champions.
The former Northern Ireland captain had said he was not sure about staying on after his original two-year tenure ended with the Glens pipping Linfield to the title by a point.
But McDonald and his backroom staff are to be offered new two-year deals.
