Alan Mannus has won three caps for Northern Ireland
Northern Ireland goalkeeper Alan Mannus is set to leave Linfield at the end of the season as he bids to secure a move to an English or Scottish club.
It is believed that the 26-year-old has not agreed a new deal with the club.
Blues manager David Jeffrey told the Linfield FC website that he "did not expect Alan to be with us next season".
"Alan has served this club very well. He's at the age whereby he's thinking that it's probably his last chance at going to play across the water.
The reality is that he probably feels that being contractually bound to Linfield would hinder that.
"As a result I don't expect Alan Mannus to be with us next season.
"That is no criticism of Alan - he has served the club tremendously well, but I've got to look at the possibility of signing another goalkeeper for next season. "
The Windsor Park club have been strongly linked with Ballymena goalkeeper Alan Blayney, who recently rejected the offer of a new deal at United.
