David Jeffrey pays tribute to his Linfield team and watch Paul Munster's late winner against JJB Premiership leaders Glentoran.
Linfield closed to within one point of league leaders Glentoran with a dramatic late 1-0 win at Windsor Park.
William Murphy headed the ball down and Paul Munster stabbed the ball home in the third minute of added time.
Elliott Morris saved from Oran Kearney in the first half and the goalkeeper comfortably held Kearney's 73rd-minute penalty after Paul Leeman had handled.
Gary Hamilton fired just wide of the post and Murphy's header went inches wide before Munster netted the winner.
Steven Douglas challenges Gary Hamilton at Windsor Park
Hamilton was through on goal in the fifth minute but Steven Douglas produced a fine saving tackle to deny the striker a scoring chance.
The best opportunity of the opening period fell to Kearney but his left-foot shot across goal was saved by Morris.
After the break, Glens defender Jonny Taylor appeared to handle inside the area but referee Alan Black waved away penalty appeals.
Dean Fitzgerald was denied by Alan Mannus and Taylor hit the sidenetting while, at the other end, Kearney's free-kick nestled safely in the hands of Morris.
Kearney provided a dangerous cross soon after but Munster's touch caused Kevin McHugh to miskick.
Leeman was then deemed to have handled in the area but Kearney's weakly hit spot-kick was easily dealt with by the Glens goalkeeper.
Hamilton drove the ball just wide of the post and then, for Linfield, Mark McAllister and Carvill both drove the ball across the area but no Blues player could get on the end of the cross and Glentoran cleared the danger.
In the final minute, Murphy's header hit a defender and went inches wide and then Munster popped up to poke home the vital goal.
