Andy Waterworth congratulates goalscorer Gary Hamilton at the Oval
A 78th-minute goal from Gary Hamilton salvaged a point for an out-of-sorts Glentoran side against Crusaders.
Jordon Owens scored his sixth goal in six games when Jonathan Taylor dropped a routine catch and the ball slipped into the net in the second minute.
Jamie McGovern made a crucial tackle to deny Martin Donnelly after the break as the game continued in disjointed style.
Andy Waterworth was the provider for Hamilton to fire home the equaliser and partially placate the home supporters.
Hamilton's strike ended a barren spell of 11 matches.
The striker had scored only twice in his previous 19 outings but was delighted to ease the pressure on his team-mates and manager Alan McDonald.
"Some of the supporters were making their feelings known but I am used to taking a bit of stick and hopefully now I can score a few more goals and give the fans what they want.
"I don't think my style of play helps - other players in our team look like they are trying becuase they are all-action, whereas my style looks a little bit different, but I always give 100 per cent."
Crusaders suffered a setback when skipper Colin Coates had to retire at half-time with a shoulder injury.
