Paul Munster scored the opener on 25 minutes, firing home a right-foot shot from 14 yards after good work by Glenn Ferguson for his eighth of the season.
Damian Curran saw his shot superbly saved by Michael Doherty but Ferguson headed Aidan O'Kane's cross into the bottom corner to make it 2-0 after 58.
James Quigley headed in on 60 and then Calvin Mooney fired wide and John O'Loughlin missed a chance to equalise.
