Browne scores as Whites beat Blues at Windsor Park
Champions Linfield suffered a second successive league defeat as first-half goals from Gary browne and Curtis Allen gave Lisburn Distillery victory.
On seven minutes Gary Muir played the ball into the area and Browne had lots of space to shoot past Alan Mannus.
International keeper Mannus was left hopelessly exposed again in the 31st minute as Browne's ball sent Allen in the clear and he calmly made it 2-0.
Last week Linfield were beaten 2-0 at bottom club Ballymena United.
Their best effort against Distillery was a Michael Carvill shot palmed over by Whites keeper Philip Matthews when the score was 1-0.
Distillery are now fourth, a point behind Linfield, but they have played three games more than the Blues.
