Darren Lockhart is congratulated after scoring the winner
Bangor claimed their third successive league win by beating struggling Lisburn Distillery at Clandeboye Park.
Andrew Plummer produced a fine penalty save from Gary Browne in the 57th minute after Andy Kilmartin had been brought down inside the area.
Both sides had good chances to break the deadlock before Darren Lockhart scored with a downward header from a Marty Verner corner after 81 minutes.
The victory sees the Seasiders move into fifth place in the Premier table.
Ryan McCann had the first chance of the match but his effort dipped over the bar and then Noel Anderson went close with a diving header.
After the penalty save, Kilmartin had an effort blocked and saw another go over the bar, Stephen Shaw had an attempt deflected wide, Johnny Magee had a snapshot and Philip Matthews tipped over from Dominic Melly.
Verner had a scoring chance, Nathan McConnell had a low effort well saved and Curtis Allen fired across the face of goal.
