A late goal by former Linfield forward Thomas Stewart rescued a point for Derry City in Monday's Eircom League clash at Turner's Cross.
Substitute Stewart equalised with a 20-yard shot in the 87th minute.
Defender Darragh Ryan's first ever goal for Cork City had given the home side the lead on 60 minutes.
Former Brighton and Hove Albion player Ryan headed in after home sub Alan O'Connor had delivered a good cross into the box.
In Monday's other Premier game Bohemians beat St Patrick's Atheltic 3-0.
