Paul Munster is the latest addition to the Linfield squad
Linfield manager David Jeffrey has swooped to sign striker Paul Munster, who will join the Blues subject to obtaining international clearance.
The 26-year-old was formerly on the books of Crusaders and has spent the last six years playing club football in Sweden and the Czech Republic.
Munster passed a medical on Friday and attended the club's JJB Premiership game with Institute at Windsor Park.
Jeffrey has been looking to bolster his forward line after losing key players.
Peter Thompson signed for Stockport County while Thomas Stewart moved to Derry City and Mark Dickson now plays for Crusaders.
The Blues had been targeting Ballymena striker Kevin Kelbie and Hamilton Academicals forward Andrew Waterworth but look set to miss out on both, with Kelbie seemingly staying at Ballymena and Derry City favourites to sign Waterworth in January.
Derry striker Kevin McHugh is also thought to be a target for the league champions.
