Eddie Patterson says FC Copenhagen will provide a good test
Glentoran and Cliftonville have been drawn at home for the first legs of their Uefa Cup first qualifying round ties, both to be played on 17 July.
The Glens face SK Liepajas Metalurgs of Latvia while the Reds play Danish side FC Copenhagen, with the return legs being played away from home on 31 July.
"It is a great draw for us, but a tough one," said Reds boss Eddie Patterson.
"They are a club with a big tradition in Europe and it will be a good test of our character," he added.
"It will also act as good preparation for our own domestic season," said the Cliftonville manager.
The Reds will play the first leg of the tie at Mourneview Park.
