Paul McVeigh bagged another two goals for Donegal Celtic
Two second-half goals from Paul McVeigh helped Donegal Celtic claim the points in the Carnegie Premier League clash.
Austin Friel headed the Swifts ahead on seven minutes and the woodwork was then rattled at both ends by McVeigh and Darren Murphy.
Rory Hamill headed DC level on 41 minutes after a McVeigh cross.
A Johnny Montgomery error was punished by McVeigh's strike on 50 minutes and Montgomery quickly conceded a penalty which McVeigh stroked home (52).
Montgomery was robbed by Tony Heagney who squared to the unmarked McVeigh and the DC striker slotted the penalty two minutes later after he himself had been hauled down by the Swifts defender.
McVeigh looked likely to complete a hat-trick after the hour but Dwayne Nelson made a fine save.
Donegal Celtic's win moves them further away from the bottom of the table - although whether they or other clubs in the bottom half of the table will be deemed suitable for the new IFA invitational League remains to be seen.
