Stephen kenny has again revived fortunes at Derry City
Derry City manager Stephen Kenny highlighted the contribition of his emerging players after Monday's 2-0 Setanta Cup win over St Pat's.
"The younger lads coming on like Conor Sammon, Aaron Callaghan and Niall McGinn are going well," said Kenny.
"The players who came in have given me a few headaches for Friday but they are headaches you like to have.
"St Pat's are a strong side and to beat them in consecutive matches is really good. It was a great victory."
The result gave Derry their first points in the 2008 All-Ireland competition with their next match away to Glentoran on 15 April.
"Having lost our first game, it was important we did not lose the second because that would have almost knocked us out of the competition," added Kenny.
