Gary McKinstry's side are involved in a relegation battle
Institute and Armagh City were unable to claim the win that they both badly needed as the spoils were shared in the Carnegie League relegation battle.
Aimless long balls were the order of day in a dreadful first half.
Institute shaded the first period but it was the home side who took the lead as Austin McCann (55) rammed home after Conor Forker had hit the woodwork.
Kyle Moran levelled from close range a minute later after Ryan McCreadie's header had struck the woodwork.
Moran had a couple of half chances to win it for Stute while James Slater missed a couple of late Armagh opportunities.
The result moves Armagh a point ahead of Limavady, who occupy the relegation play-off spot.
Bottom placed Institute are now a point behind Limavady.
