Steven Douglas receives one of his two yellow cards |
Linfield moved two points clear at the top of the Carnegie Premier League despite having Steven Douglas sent-off for two yellow cards after 66 minutes. Jamie Mulgrew scored the opener on 31 minutes, curling the ball round Michael Doherty from eight yards out. Doherty denied Michael Gault before the dismissal of Douglas after which the visitors came more into the game. Blues goalkeeper Alan Mannus made a good save from Philip Lowry's close-range effort.
