Coyle gives Lurgan Blues job hint
Roy Coyle
Roy Coyle lost the Newry City job last January
Roy Coyle has given a big hint that he is interested in becoming the new manager of Glenavon.

The struggling Lurgan Blues require a new manager after the club's board of directors terminated Colin Malone's contract on Friday.

Coyle described Glenavon as a "massive club" with "great potential".

"It's a fantastic club. If somebody could get the club by the scruff of the neck, I really think they could do something there," Coyle told BBC Sport.

Coyle has been out of football since departing from the Newry City job last January.

The former Northern Ireland international has won 50 trophies in a success-filled career.

He had the majority of his successes at Linfield but he also claimed Irish League titles during his reign at Glentoran.

He has also been in charge of Derry City, Ards and Newry.
