Aaron Black scored a late equaliser after the ball broke free to him from a Ross Black free-kick to earn Larne a share of the CIS Cup spoils at Inver. In the first half, former Larne player Julian Ward had headed home from a Michael Ferguson free-kick to give the Whites the lead at the interval.
Earlier, Philip Matthews had saved from Marty Hunter's low drive and the Whites Andy Kilmartin was wide with an effort.
Andy Waterworth hit the post after the break after beating Padraig Gollogley.
