Sub Noel Anderson rescued Coleraine by scoring an equaliser with the last kick of Friday's CIS opener at Drumahoe. David Ogilby had given Institute the lead with a 40th-mintue free but Coleraine equalised on 65 minutes with a direct free from Stephen Carson.
Four minutes later home substitute Stephen Campbell's cross was met by 'Stute new boy Andy Crawford, who beat Davy O'Hare with a looping header.
Anderson blasted in the point-saver in the third minute of stoppage time.
