First Division Bangor came from 3-0 down to draw with Premier League side Cliftonville in a pre-season friendly at Solitude on Saturday.

Chris Scannell (2) and Kieran O'Connor had the Reds in command but Bangor hit back in the second half.

Paul McDowell and Ryan Brown had the Seasiders right back in it and former Cliftonville player Simon Gribben made it 3-3 with a late penalty.

Elsewhere, Crusaders beat Ballyclare and Ballymena defeated Wakehurst.

Alain Emerson and a Gareth Walsh penalty gave the Crues a 2-0 victory at Dixon Park.

Ballymena United had to come from a goal down to beat Second Division Wakehurst 3-1.

Stephen McIlroy gave Wakehurst a shock half-time lead with a spectacular strike, only for United to respond through Paul Brown, Randal Reid and Johnny Flynn.
