Sammy Morrow's goal put Derry into th elead at Tolka Park |
Recent signing Sammy Morrow gave Derry City a second-half lead at Tolka Park but they finished up with just a point and only 10 men on the pitch. Former Hibs player Morrow put City in front on 50 minutes and the Candystripes looked set for only their second win in 10 league matches.
But then Derry had Sean Hargan sent-off in the 58th minute for a poor challenge on Ger Rowe.
Rovers got their equaliser just two minutes after that through Andy Myler.
The veteran striker headed in from a Tadhg Purcell cross.
