Greg O'Halloran has left Derry City to sign for Galway United. O'Halloran can play in defence or midfield and was one of former manager Pat Fenlon's pre-season signings.
"I'm delighted to get Greg. He's the kind of player we were hoping to get in the transfer window," said Galway manager Tony Cousins.
"He brings a great deal of experience and her has previously won League and Cup medals. He has also played in Europe," added the United boss.
O'Halloran formerly played for Shelbourne under Fenlon before moving to the Brandywell.
