Premier League club Crusaders have come out against building the new national stadium at the government-favoured Maze site near Lisburn. But, according the Irish FA, the north Belfast club is one of only two senior clubs to have opposed the scheme.
The IFA asked all Premier League clubs to reveal if they were in favour of siting the new ground at the Maze and 11 of the 13 responses were positive.
A 35,000-seater stadium is planned for football, rugby and GAA at the venue.
Crusaders say a new stadium should be built in Belfast.
The government has not yet made a final decision on whether to build the stadium but it has been made clear that the Maze is the only option as far as ministers are concerned.
Belfast City Council has a rival plan to build a 25,000 seat stadium at Ormeau Park.
The Amalgamation of Northern Ireland Supporters' Clubs has called for the Football Task Force to be reformed to deal with the issue.
