Gerard McCabe of Donegal Celtic
Gerard McCabe was sent-off on 78 minutes
Donegal Celtic finished with eight men against Dungannon Swifts.

Swifts dominated early on but Gerard McCabe had a 20-yard shot saved by Dwayne Nelson, Sean Armstrong was off target and Paul McVeigh went close.

On 78 minutes McCabe was sent-off after re-entering the field without the referee's permission and Andrew Bonner was dismissed for dissent after 81.

Gavin Melaugh was red carded in added time for handling in the area but David Scullion saw his penalty saved.

Declan Brown made a good stop from the spot-kick to deny Dungannon the points.

After the game the referee had to be escorted from the ground and it is alleged that a Dungannon player headbutted or attempted to headbutt a DC player after which other players and fans became involved.

Stewards managed to diffuse the situation.
