Welders see off Ards in Steel Cup |  Gary Hillis and Raymond Morrison saw their Ards side lose |
Harland and Wolff Welders booked a place in the final of the Steel and Sons Cup by beating Ards at Ballyskeagh on Tuesday night. The Welders came from behind to win 2-1 after extra-time. Mark Craig picked up the ball and ran through the defence before slotting the ball past Ards goalkeeper Ian Mannus after 47 minutes. Alan Neill slammed home the equaliser on 67 but Lee Taggart got the winner direct from a corner after 96 minutes.
