 Vincent Sweeney scored the winner for Limavady |
Limavady beat Glenavon thanks to Vincent Sweeney's penalty off a post after 17 minutes after Conor Walsh had conceded the spot-kick. Michael Doherty produced a fine low save from Ross Black and Nathan McConnell also went close for Glenavon. The Lurgan Blues face a testing time as they now play the top five sides in the league in their next five league games. This was Limavady's second league win of the campaign and they lie in 12th position on eight points.
