Gary Fitzpatrick scored from Rodney McAree's corner on 50 minutes to secure maximum points for the Swifts in Saturday's Carnegie Premier match. In the first half Rory Hamill fired wide, Mark McAllister blasted over from 12 yards and David Scullion went close with a free-kick, all for Dungannon.
After Fitzpatrick's goal, Michael Ward had a chance to make it two and McAllister blasted wide.
The home side created few chances in a largely disappointing game.
